A bolt of lightning struck a barn in Elizabethtown Monday, setting it on fire.

The blaze destroyed the barn and several classic cars stored inside it.

The cars belonged to Denny Egglefield, whose family owns the Ford dealership in Elizabethtown.

Another lightning strike at Pray's trailer park in Peru blew out phone and water lines.

Meanwhile, police say Route 67-West in North Bennington, Vt., was reopened Tuesday after being shut down Monday because of flash flooding. A few roads were still closed Tuesday morning in Poultney. Officials said they were covered with water from small streams and ditches that overflowed during Monday's storms.
